i have installed the virtual box but i still can not open the vmdk file and is it ok to have the option of windows 10 64-bit to select as i can not find the (SUSEopen 64-bit) verion in the dialog box

You must use openSUSE 64 bit. If this option doesn't appear, it's a clear sign that the hardware virtualization on your PC is not enabled.
